Water slag is the product of placing blast furnace slag in hot molten state in water for rapid cooling, also known as blast furnace water quenching slag, is a by-product produced by blast furnace ironmaking, and is also known as mineral powder in the cement industry, and is mainly used in two ways: water quenching in slag ponds or water quenching in front of furnaces. Water slag is mainly used in the production of cement, which can be used as cement mix or made into clinker-free cement. Blast furnace water slag can be used as the main raw material for the production of slag micropowder after superfine grinding.
